- Can I embed a widget or code from another service on my website?Usually, yes. Copy the embed code the service gives you, then in WordPress add a Custom HTML block where it belongs, paste the code and save. Only Administrators and Editors can save scripts and iframes on a standard site. Only paste code from services you trust, and check the page on a phone afterward.
- Can you add a new page to my website?Yes. Send E-3 the page title, the wording, any photos, and where it should sit in the menu. A person at E-3 builds it and tests it on a staging copy first. To do it yourself in WordPress, go to Pages, then Add Page, add your content, publish it, and add it to the menu.
- Can you add or change a popup on my website?Yes. A popup works best when it's small, easy to close on a phone, shows once per visit and comes down when the offer ends. Send the wording, the dates, which pages it should appear on and when it should open. Google warns that popups covering the page can hurt how your site does in search.
- Can you add social media links or feeds to my site?Yes. E-3 can add social icons that link to your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or other profiles, usually in the header and footer, and can show posts from your accounts where it makes sense. If you'd rather do it yourself, WordPress's Social Icons block adds linked icons in a few minutes. Check that every icon really opens your page.
- Can you update the text on my website?E-3 can update the text on your website. Email support@e3help.me or call 814-399-4655 with the page address, the words there now and the words you want instead. A person at E-3 makes the change, and bigger changes are tested on a staging copy first. Website care includes daily backups, so an earlier version can be restored.
- How do I add a blog post or news item?To add a blog post or news item in WordPress, go to Posts, then Add Post. Type a headline, write the post in blocks, add a photo with alt text, pick a category and featured image, then preview it on a phone and select Publish. You can also save a draft or schedule it for later.
- How do I add a video to my website?Put the video on YouTube or Vimeo first, then copy its link. In WordPress, add a YouTube or Embed block where you want it, paste the link, select Embed and save. Keep Resize for smaller devices turned on, then check the page on a phone, because playback and layout problems usually show up there.
- How do I add or fix a map on my website? In Google Maps, open Share or embed map, choose Embed a map, and copy the HTML. In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block, paste the code and save. If the pin is in the wrong place, fix the location in Google first, then copy fresh code. A broken plugin map usually needs its Google API key checked.
- How do I add or remove a staff member on my website? To add a staff member to your website, open your team page in WordPress, duplicate an existing person's section so the layout matches, then swap in their name, role, photo and bio, and save. To remove someone, delete their section, then search the site for their name and repoint forms or email links using their address.
- How do I change a photo or banner on my site?In WordPress, open the page in the editor, select the image, choose Replace in the toolbar, upload the new photo, update its alternative text and save. Banners are often a background image in a Cover block or page builder section instead. Resize big phone photos before you upload them.
- How do I change my site's menu or navigation? In WordPress, classic themes keep the menu under Appearance, then Menus: tick the page, select Add to Menu, drag it into place and select Save Menu. Block themes use the Navigation block in the Site Editor. A customized menu shows a new page only after someone adds it; a default page list adds it automatically.
- How do I change the colors, fonts or button styles on my site?Change colors, fonts and buttons in one site-wide place, not page by page. In a WordPress block theme that's Appearance, Editor, Styles. In a classic theme it's Appearance, Customize. Beaver Builder sites use Tools, Global Styles. Change one setting, check a few pages on a phone, then save. Reset to defaults undoes it.
- How do I edit the text on my website myself?Log in to WordPress, go to Pages, hover over the page and select Edit. Click into the text, type your change, preview it at phone width, then select Save. If your site uses a page builder, its own edit button replaces the block editor, but the idea is the same.
- How do I review and approve a website preview?Open the preview link E-3 sends you and check every changed word, photo and link on a computer, then on a phone. Reply "Approved" if it's right, or list each fix on its own line. You'll get one before a redesign or site move goes live, and bigger changes are tested on a staging copy first.
- How do I set up a livestream or webcast page on my website?Stream on YouTube, then embed the stream on a page of your site. Schedule the stream in YouTube first so it has its own link, open it, select Share, then Embed, and paste the code into a Custom HTML block. Make the stream Public and allow embedding. Share the page link ahead of time, and test before the event.
- How do I undo a change to my website?Email support@e3help.me or call 814-399-4655 and say which page looks wrong. E-3's website care includes daily backups, so an earlier version of the page can be restored. If you edit your own WordPress site, page revisions let you restore an earlier version yourself.
- How do I update events or the calendar on my site?Log in to WordPress and open your calendar plugin's events list, usually Events, then Add New. Give the event a title, set the start and end date and time, add the venue and category, then publish and check the calendar page. To change or cancel an event, edit it rather than deleting it.
- How do I update my phone number, address or hours?List every place the old detail appears: the header or footer, the contact page, any map, and PDFs. Change them all at once in the editor, check the phone link still dials, and save. Then update your Google Business Profile the same day so customers find one answer everywhere.
- How do I upload a PDF or document to my site?In WordPress, open the page, add a File block where you want the link, and upload the PDF. Give the link clear text, choose a download button or an on-page view, then save. When the document changes, replace the file in the same block, then delete the old copy. Put key details on the page as text too.
