Is my site down?
Type your website address and we’ll check it from the internet: whether it answers, how fast, its secure connection and its domain. You’ll see if it’s down for everyone or just on your end, and what to do next. Only the site name is used, and nothing is kept.
The live check is being switched on. You can still check your domain’s expiry below. If your site is down now, call 814-399-4655 or send a support request.
How to use it
- Type your website address, like yourbusiness.com.
- We check it from Cloudflare’s network, outside your home or office.
- Read the plain answer, then follow the next steps, or tap “We’ll fix it”.

- Why do DNS changes take time to show up?Devices and networks remember DNS answers for a set time, called the TTL, so they don't look them up on every visit. After a change, people keep seeing the old answer until their remembered copy expires. Record changes usually spread within minutes to hours; nameserver changes can take up to a day.
- What happens if my domain name expires?Your website and email on that domain will stop working. For endings like .com, the registrar cuts off DNS before deleting the domain, but the timing and renewal window vary by registrar. Renew the same day. After deletion there's often a 30-day redemption period with a fee, then five days of pending delete, then anyone can register it.
- What is DNS, and why does it affect my email and website?DNS, the Domain Name System, is your domain's directory. Its records tell the internet which server shows your website and which service receives your email. Because both live in the same place, one wrong or missing record can take your site offline or stop mail arriving, even when nothing else has changed.
