Websites for Charlotte-area businesses
E-3 Design has two clients around Charlotte, North Carolina: Landscape Lighting Resources, which designs and installs outdoor lighting, and Mimosa Lake Retreat, four vacation homes on a private lake near Marshville. We designed, built and host both sites. Charlotte-area owners work with us like everyone else does, by phone, email and video.
Our two Charlotte-area sites
- Landscape Lighting ResourcesLighting is sold after dark, so night photography leads. Service pages run from garden and path lighting to dock and HOA lighting, service-area pages cover towns around Charlotte, and a free consultation button sits in the header.Charlotte, NC
- Mimosa Lake RetreatGuests compare four lakeside homes by bedrooms, baths and how many they sleep, read the house rules, and book from the homepage. We host it and look after it under a maintenance plan.Marshville, NC
The kinds of business we know here
- Outdoor and home servicesA lighting installer whose customers need to picture the result at night and find out quickly whether their town is covered.
- Vacation rentals and hospitalityA group of rental homes where guests decide fast: photos, sleeping counts, rules and a booking button, ideally without leaving the site.
How Charlotte projects run
Our studio is in Somerset, Pennsylvania, so Charlotte work is done remotely: calls and email, video when it helps, and a preview of every change before it goes live. The main line is 814-399-4655, and replies usually come within one business day.
Around Charlotte
One client is in the Charlotte area and the other is near Marshville, in Union County. The lighting company’s own service-area pages reach Belmont, Concord, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville and Salisbury. A business anywhere in the Charlotte region works with us the same way.

Ideas from our Charlotte-area work
- Show the work the way customers see itIf your work looks best at night or on the water, put those photos on your Google profile as well as your site. Google takes JPG or PNG photos up to 5 MB and videos up to 30 seconds.
- Let guests book, not just askWhen the next step is nearly always a set booking, online booking beats a contact form. Keep a form for group stays and questions that need a reply first.
- Write town pages only when you have something to sayA page per town works when each one says something real about the work there. Swapping the town name on the same text can count as doorway abuse under Google’s spam policies.
