Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or reduced motion. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA and test every release.

Last updated November 1, 2026.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Real headings, labelled form fields and descriptive links.
  • Text meets WCAG AA color contrast.
  • Meaningful images have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, the scroll animations are switched off and every scene is shown complete and still.
  • Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 200%, with nothing scrolling sideways at 320 pixels wide.
  • Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels, apart from links inside a sentence.
  • When a form field needs fixing, the message names it, the field is marked as needing attention, and focus moves to it.
  • The site follows your device’s light or dark setting, and both pass the same checks.

How we test

Before each release, automated tests check every page, not a sample:

  • axe, with the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, on all pages at phone and desktop sizes, in light and dark mode;
  • reflow at 320 pixels wide on all pages;
  • keyboard tests on the main pages and journeys: everything reachable with a visible focus outline, no focus traps, and the Get help window and menus working with the keyboard and Escape;
  • target sizes, heading order, page landmarks and a name on every control on the main pages;
  • Google Lighthouse on one page of each type.

Last full run: November 1, 2026, with no failures. Automated tests don’t catch everything. A screen reader pass with VoiceOver by a person is next, and this page will say when it’s done.

Known limits

Some screenshots of client websites show text as part of an image; each has a text description. Design-concept illustrations in our services section are decorative and the same information is in the text beside them.
