- How do I add or update products in my online store? In WooCommerce, go to Products, then Add new product, or open an existing product to update it. Fill in the name, description, price and image, pick a category, and publish. For a new product in your online store, the safest shortcut is copying one in the same category, so the layout matches, then changing the details.
- How do I add, remove or require fields at checkout? In WooCommerce's Checkout block, open the Checkout page in the editor, select Checkout Fields in List View, and use Address Fields in the sidebar to show or hide Company, Address line 2 and Phone, and make each Optional or Required. Save, then place a test order. Brand-new fields need an extension or a developer.
- How do I change shipping rates or sales tax on my store? In WooCommerce, shipping costs live under WooCommerce, Settings, Shipping, in shipping zones: edit the zone, then the method, and change its cost. Sales tax is turned on under Settings, General, and the rates are set under Settings, Tax. If live carrier rates stop working, check the carrier plugin's connection and licence.
- How do I see or export my orders and customers? In WooCommerce, open WooCommerce, then Orders, to see every order and its status. For lists you can download, use WooCommerce, then Analytics: pick the Orders, Products or Customers report, set the date range, and select Download to get a spreadsheet file. Customers also have their own list under WooCommerce, then Customers.
- Why aren't customers getting order confirmation emails?Usually the confirmations are being sent but land in the customer's spam folder, or they're switched off. Check the email is enabled and logged as sent in WooCommerce. Then fix the sender side: a From address on your own domain, a proper sending service, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
- Why does a product say in stock when it's sold out?In WooCommerce, a product says In stock when stock tracking is off and its status was left at In stock, when backorders are allowed, or when a size or colour has its own stock setting. Turn on stock management, set the real quantity, and check each variation. For missing sale items, check the sale price and dates.
- Why isn't online payment or checkout working?Find the failed payment in your payment provider's dashboard first. It shows whether the customer's bank declined the card, a fraud filter blocked it, or your store caused the error. If every payment is failing, look at what changed: an update, payment keys, test mode, or cached cart and checkout pages.
