- How can I get my site to show up higher in Google?Nobody can guarantee a ranking, but the steady work is clear: a complete, verified Google Business Profile, a clear page for each service and place you serve, unique page titles, recent reviews, and a site that loads fast on phones. Check Search Console to see what's working, and give changes weeks, not days.
- How do I reply to a bad Google review?Open your Business Profile at business.google.com, select Read reviews, then the Reply icon next to the review. Wait until you are calm, then keep it short: thank them, apologize, and offer to sort it out by phone. If it breaks Google rules, report it and still reply, unless it is extortion: then report it without engaging.
- How do I see how many people visit my website?WordPress does not count visitors on its own, so the reliable way to see how many people visit your website is Google Analytics. Once it is set up, sign in at analytics.google.com and open Reports. The Reports snapshot shows recent users, and Realtime shows who is on the site now. If nobody set up Analytics, do that first.
- How do I track Google Ads conversions from my website? In Google Ads, go to Goals, then Summary, and choose Create conversion action. Scan your website, then track a form or call either from a page address, like your thank-you page, or by importing a GA4 key event. Mark the main ones Primary. Then check the Status column until it shows conversions coming in.
- How do I update my Google listing or get reviews?Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile, open business.google.com, and select Edit profile to change hours, phone, address or photos. For reviews, select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and send that link to customers soon after each job. Never offer anything in return.
- How do I verify my site with Google Search Console?Add your site as a Domain property in Search Console, copy the TXT record Google gives you, and add it at the company that manages your domain's DNS. Then select Verify. If it fails, check that the record went to the company that really manages your DNS.
