Mimosa Lake Retreat is a group of four vacation homes around a private four-acre lake, set on 18 acres near Marshville, North Carolina, and a short drive from Charlotte’s airport. Guests can stay in one home, combine several, or reserve the whole retreat for a group. The homes are EagleView, The Rock, the Cozy Cottage and the Vintage Mingle Barn.

What the site has to do

Vacation rental guests decide quickly. They want to see the place, compare the options, check how many people each home sleeps, read the rules and book, ideally without leaving the site. For a property with several homes, the site also has to make group stays easy to understand.

What’s on the site

  • A lake-at-dusk homepage hero with “Resort atmosphere with unforgettable family memories” and a “Book Now” button.
  • A reservations phone number near the top of the page.
  • Featured homes, each showing bedrooms, baths and how many guests it sleeps, with links to the full listing.
  • A note on stays of a full month.
  • Services and amenities, a common amenities page and a gallery.
  • A full set of policies and house rules: check-in, check-out, refunds, parking, no smoking, fishing rules and use of the common areas.
  • Reviews, an FAQ and a help center, with the address, phone and email in the footer.

What E-3 did

E-3 designed and built the site. E-3 hosts Mimosa Lake Retreat on managed WordPress hosting and looks after it under a maintenance plan. Our monitoring checks the site for available updates and known plugin vulnerabilities, so we can catch issues early, ideally before guests trying to book notice anything.

The site runs on WordPress with the Homey theme, a theme designed for vacation rental listings, and its pages are built with Elementor and Elementor Pro. Contact forms use Contact Form 7. A booking-focused theme carries more moving parts than a simple brochure site, which is one reason ongoing care matters here.
