World Dance Championship: one event, one clear site
The World Dance Championship is a DanceOne event held each summer at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey. Its site covers qualifying, registration, rules, hotels and the schedule. E-3 hosts and looks after it.

The World Dance Championship is a once-a-year event from DanceOne, held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The site’s own description puts it simply: the best dancers in the world come to compete. Routines qualify to compete, and when space allows they can also qualify at Star Dance Alliance national championships. The site’s footer lists the Star Dance Alliance in Xenia, Ohio.
What the site has to do
A single-event site is different from a touring one. There’s one date, one venue and one registration window, and a lot riding on getting the details right. Families need to know how to qualify, when registration opens, how payment works, where to stay and when their routine is on. Questions about rules and refunds need clear, written answers before anyone pays.
What’s on the site
- A homepage that leads with the event: dates, venue and full street address.
- A registration section that spells out the rules before registration opens: first come, first served, divisions close when they’re full, payment in full by card or electronic check, and no cash refunds.
- A Qualify page, including a “Do you have a Golden Ticket?” section.
- The routine schedule, with a link to the daily schedule.
- Pages for watching, rules, hotels, results, judges, FAQs, charity events, the shop and contact.
- A registration tutorial link and a mailing list sign-up in the footer.
What E-3 did
E-3 designed and built the site. E-3 hosts the World Dance Championship site on managed WordPress hosting and looks after it under DanceOne’s maintenance plan with us. Our monitoring checks it for available updates and known plugin vulnerabilities.
The site runs on WordPress with the Genesis framework and the Dynamik child theme, Beaver Builder pages and Gravity Forms. For an event with a fixed registration date, the job is simple to describe and important to get right: keep the site steady and up to date, so it’s ready when registration opens.
