Blue Engineered Products: a machine shop site that says call us

Blue Engineered Products is a precision machining and manufacturing job shop. It offers custom manufacturing, design services, and welding and fabrication. Its standout offer is emergency service: when crucial manufacturing equipment breaks down at any hour, the shop repairs or redesigns the part, on site or at its own facility.

What the site has to do

A machine shop’s site serves two kinds of visitor. One is planning: a buyer or engineer looking for a shop that can make a part to spec. The other is in trouble: a plant manager with a line down, looking for someone to call right now. The site has to work for both, and the second visitor can’t be made to dig.

What’s on the site

• A strong industrial hero, a close-up of a cutting tool with the company’s gear logo, followed by a plain description of what the shop does.
• “24/7 Emergency Services” as its own item in the main menu, and a homepage section explaining the emergency service.
• Pages for machining, design, and welding and fabrication.
• A mission statement: solve the customer’s problem, and custom-make quality parts for a fraction of the price and time of going back to the original manufacturer.
• A short section on the shop’s experience in the CNC business.
• The phone number and an email link on the homepage, plus about and contact pages.

The palette is blue, white and steel, with icons in the menu. On a phone, the logo and the hero come first and the menu collapses, which keeps the phone number a short scroll away.

What E-3 did

E-3 designed and built the site. E-3 hosts Blue Engineered Products on managed WordPress hosting. Our monitoring checks the site for available updates and known plugin vulnerabilities, so we can catch issues early, ideally before customers with a line down notice anything.

The site runs on WordPress with the Genesis framework and the Dynamik child theme, with pages built in Beaver Builder.
