Gorman Landscape Contractors is a landscaping company based in Spring Valley, Ohio, serving Dayton and the surrounding area. Established in 2010, the company designs, builds and maintains landscapes for homeowners, from flower gardens and sod to patios, retaining walls, fire pits and ponds.

What the site has to do

Landscaping customers want to see what’s possible on a property like theirs, and then they want a quote. The site has to make the range of work obvious, show finished projects, and turn interest into a quote request. It also helps with hiring, which matters for a crew-based business.

What’s on the site

• A homepage hero of a finished home and patio, with the line “Exceeding expectations in every project we complete.”
• A main menu built on the company’s three services: Design, Build and Maintain, with a “Get a quote” button beside them.
• A short story of the company and its mission.
• A “Design your dream, build your plan, maintain your vision” section that explains each service.
• Client testimonials, with initials and town.
• A project gallery: paver and flagstone patios, seating walls and fire pits, boulder and retaining walls, limestone steps, a pond, a deck and full backyard projects.
• About, careers and contact pages, with the address and phone numbers in the footer.

The design leans on green and white, matching the company’s logo, and repeats the “Get a quote” button at the top and bottom of the page. A visitor who scrolls through the gallery never has to scroll back up to ask for a price.

What E-3 did

E-3 designed and built the site. E-3 hosts Gorman Landscape Contractors on managed WordPress hosting and looks after it under a maintenance plan. Our monitoring checks the site for available updates and known plugin vulnerabilities, so we can catch issues early, ideally before customers requesting a quote notice anything.

The site runs on WordPress with the Genesis framework and the Dynamik child theme. Pages are built with Beaver Builder, and the project galleries use Envira Gallery, which keeps a large photo collection organized and quick to browse.
